Capital Watches is an Australian based watch company selling affordable and stylish wrist watches online.

We identified a gap in the market, away from the trending 'minimalist' and 'hipster' styles, while still maintaining a clean and fresh look aiming more towards a taste that wasn't truly being offered in current styles or brands.

The name Capital was chosen for several reasons, but mainly as the dated exclamation "used to express approval, satisfaction, or delight". It's also recognised as a term given to a countries most important city, and of course, the use of capital in terms of wealth.

We found that watch designs have been explored heavily across the watch industry with almost all colour, styles and combinations exhausted. Much like a white t-shirt is still appealing depending on the brand, we decided to work to create a strong identity around the name and logo for Capital Watches.
